Alpine skiing in the Antholz Valley and on the Kronplatz

Whether they’re looking for tranquillity or adventure, be it in a remote idyll or convivial party atmosphere – Alpine skiers are sure to find what they’re looking for in Antholz. This is guaranteed by the family-friendly Riepen Lift in the middle Antholz Valley and the nearby Kronplatz ski resort, South Tyrol’s number one winter sports resort.

The approximately 1600 metre-long Riepen Lift means something even to the smallest of our enthusiastic ski holidaymakers, since it offers children and beginners in particular the ideal conditions for learning how to sweep over the snow on freshly-waxed skis in a relaxed atmosphere. The height difference covered is a modest 380 metres – and this too underscores the family-friendly nature of the Riepen Lift in the Antholz Valley. Incidentally, snowboarding and skiing equipment can be hired locally.
A day’s skiing on the 2,275 metre-tall Kronplatz is quite different. The winter sport paradise, which can be reached from Antholz by car or ski bus in just a few minutes, attracts visitors from November to April with pure skiing fun. Modern lifts, excellently prepared slopes with a total length of over 100 kilometres, plus 9 ski schools, après ski till the cows come home and more will gladden the hearts of ski holidaymakers.
